ESPN Now Has The Full 2023-24 Boston Celtics Postseason Schedule
The NBA Playoffs are just around the corner, and the Boston Celtics are set to begin their title defense against the Atlanta Hawks in the first round. ESPN has released the full schedule for the series, which will begin on Tuesday, May 7th at 7 pm ET in Boston.
The Celtics finished the regular season with a 55-27 record, good for the second seed in the Eastern Conference. The Hawks, meanwhile, finished 43-39 and clinched the eighth seed in the East.
The Celtics have won two of the three meetings against the Hawks this season, including a 126-101 victory in their most recent matchup on March 29th.
The Celtics are confident they can advance to the second round, but they know the Hawks will be a tough opponent.
“They’re a really good team,” Celtics coach Ime Udoka said. “They’ve got a lot of young talent, and they’re playing with a lot of confidence right now. We’re going to have to be ready to play our best basketball to beat them.”
The Celtics are hoping to make a deep run in the playoffs this season, and they believe they have the team to do it.
“We’ve got a lot of experience on this team,” Celtics forward Jayson Tatum said. “We know what it takes to win, and we’re ready to prove it.”
The Celtics will host the first two games of the series at TD Garden before traveling to Atlanta for Games 3 and 4. If necessary, Games 5, 6, and 7 will be played in Boston.
The Celtics are hoping to close out the series in four or five games, but they know the Hawks will be a tough opponent. The Hawks are a young and hungry team, and they will be looking to make a statement in the playoffs.
