RHONJ: The Real Reason Dina Manzo Left the Show
Dina Cantin, who starred on the first two seasons of "The Real Housewives of New Jersey," left the show in 2009.
She has since said that she left because she was not happy with the direction the show was taking.
In a 2019 interview with Page Six, Manzo said that she was "really happy" to leave "RHONJ." She said that the show had become "too negative" and that she was not comfortable with the way the other Housewives were behaving.
"I was really happy to leave," Manzo said. "I think it was the best decision I ever made. The show had become too negative. The other Housewives were always fighting and arguing, and I didn't want to be a part of that anymore."
Manzo also said that she was not happy with the way the show was edited. She said that the producers often made her look bad and that she did not feel like she was fairly represented.
"I didn't like the way I was being portrayed on the show," Manzo said. "The producers would often edit my words and make me look bad. I didn't feel like I was fairly represented."
Manzo has not appeared on "RHONJ" since she left the show in 2009. She has since married and had two children. She currently lives in California.
